Our Mission

"At Springlawn childcare we are committed to providing quality childcare to all our children and families in an inclusive environment. We ensure the safety of all the children who attend the service in a warm, friendly, fun and caring atmosphere. We prompt a range of challenging and stimulating activities for the children to assist them learn and develop their own personality and to reach their unique individual potential.

It is our vision that all children will be safe, capable, confident, happy, and are totally free from academic pressures. We will nurture with love, care respect and provide positive attitudes and the necessary care to stand strong and take root in our rich community."

Springlawn Community Childcare Centre was set up by a Voluntary Management Committee in 2004 initially to provide affordable Pre-School Education and in later years, because of demand, we then also provided an After School service for the parents/guardians in the local community.  We facilitate a once weekly Parent & Toddler group in conjunction with Longford Community Resources.  This drop in service is FREE of charge.  Currently we do not offer a full day care service.

We cater for children from the ages of 3 years to 5 years for our Pre-School Service and from 5 years to 12 years in our After School Service.  The Parent & Toddler group ages range from 0 years to 3 years of age.

We are registered with TUSLA                          and a member of Early Childhood Ireland
